The Adult Family Home Council’s Executive Board has elected a new slate of board officers.
First, the Council and Board would like to express our sincerest gratitude to the outgoing board chair, Delbert Miles. Delbert has served as the chair of the board from 2013-2017. Under his leadership, the board hired a new executive director (John Ficker) and has been successful in increasing Medicaid reimbursement, improving working conditions for providers, and building an organization designed to respond to the many needs of AFH operators all across our state. As a volunteer he has provided countless hours to actualizing the Council’s mission. Thank you Delbert!

Thank you John for the very kind words. I look forward to our future as the best alternative for long term care for our most vulnerable citizens. The value our organization has to offer ALL AFH’s, State and Private is second to none. With your leadership, the office staff, and the many volunteers on the board there is no telling where we can go. I can’t wait to see what the future has to offer.
