The Adult Family Home Council has reached a tentative agreement with the State of Washington on a 2019-2021 Adult Family Home Contract. This contract fundamentally transforms Medicaid reimbursement to Adult Family Homes. The contract includes:
• Important clarification about the PACE and MCO programs
• Back pay for delayed significant change assessments
• Contract language that requires DSHS to include the provider in the development of the assessment
• Defines healthcare and training as separate benefits
• Increased reimbursements for ECS/SBS
• Meaningful Home Based Activities as a statewide program
• Payment for escorting residents to medical appointments
• Scheduled rate increases for:
